We had to find a pet sitter quite quickly before a holiday as the petter sitters we usually use were booked and was worried that they might have to be put in a Cattery. Caroline is was very quick to respond to us which we were very grateful. I felt relieved that the cats would be able to stay in their environment, not be stressed and have their normal routine.

Caroline was very professional, friendly and answered all our queries. I had no worries and felt that my cats would be very well looked after. The information that Caroline provided was informative, and the checklist was helpful so I didn’t forget anything I needed to tell her. It was great having Caroline as our cat sitter as she provided daily updates on my cats along with pictures, which I really appreciated. The report card was great as I knew what the cats had eaten and done when Caroline had visited.

When we decided to go on a fairly long holiday, we wanted to explore care options for our two dogs where they could stay in our home as they only needed day care. We asked Caroline to look after our dog, puppy and another young family dog for about 24 hours in our home. They are a lively bunch and it was clear they had a great time with Caroline, lots of fun and love.

I also use them for solo walks as well, because he gets the variety of places to visit, they are not street walks, they are to the parks, woods etc and he comes back from all of them tired and satisfied which helps me a lot when I am so busy running a small business, I could not do without them now

We cannot wait until September as they are starting up in the Ultimate Adventures with fun and games for the dogs, so my boy is definitely going as anything Caroline and her team does is a service that is top notch

Molly had her first boarding stay recently and it was a huge success! Jules and Dan provided Molly with a home from home stay that included all the things that you’d want for your much loved pet. Every need of Mollys was catered for and she had a fantastic week with them.

To find a service like The Pet Sitter Solihull is a true gem as it’s not only a thriving business but they all treat and love the pets like their own! The care and attention they provide is impeccable and puts them above the rest! 

Caroline is an absolute godsend! Having injured myself in the summer, with 2 energetic puppies, I needed to find a dog walker quickly. She was extremely quick in her response, but still took the time to do a meet and greet with the dogs and the humans. She came armed with lots of really helpful information that put my mind at rest immediately. Fortunately both dogs behaved themselves on their trial walk (phew).

The dogs absolutely adore her – the tails (and entire bodies) go crazy when they hear her van coming up the road and they can’t wait to jump into her van and disappear off for an adventure. They play all sorts of games in the park and come back exhausted after every walk. Sleepy dogs = happy owners.

We get lots of photos of their fun and games, and the little extra touches make all the difference – the end of term report certainly raised a few smiles.

I’ve received several pieces of feedback from fellow dog owners in the park about how wonderful she is with the dogs and how happy they obviously are. There’s no better feedback than that!

Caroline came to look after our Flatcoated Retriever Rennie for two nights whilst we did some Christmas visits.

From our initial contact Caroline has been really professional leaving no stone unturned with her comprehensive forms ensuring she has all the information she needed to look after Reenie.

Caroline arrived earlier than booked to fit in with Reenie’s usual dinner time and went above and beyond with measuring our bathroom as we were ordering some flooring and we had forgotten to pick up the measurements and she also realised we had mistakenly left the heating on 24/7 so she turned that off too. We received updates and photographs throughout her visit which where lovely to receive.

On our return there was a detailed report of what time walks, toileting and meals had happened as well as any other comments. I was amazed to find a thank you to us of two cupcakes and a bespoke card with photos of Reenie whilst under Caroline’s care. Reenie was happy and safe and enjoyed some lovely walks with Caroline.

Caroline’s service cuts no corners, everything is covered and I cannot recommend Caroline of The Pet Sitter Solihull highly enough for home pet care. Trustworthy, reliable and such a lovely person. We have already booked further dates for overnight cover in our home for 2023.

I was so pleased to find The Pet Sitter Solihull as I needed someone to come to my home and look after my little dog – who, having been rescued was very nervous of being caged, and also was not very good with mixing with other dogs.

I had a meet and greet within a week of initial contact and also was very pleased at the length of time Caroline stayed getting to know my little dog. 

During the pet sit Caroline exceeded the time spent with Tilly. Tilly was a little bit upset and unsettled as I wasn’t around, and it was reassuring knowing how caring Caroline was towards Tilly.

Without Caroline caring for Tilly I know I wouldn’t have been able to relax whilst I was away. She certainly made it possible for me to attend a long awaited family reunion.

When Caroline popped back a few days later Tilly was extremely excited to see her, which to me, meant she was very happy with her.

We can’t thank Caroline enough for looking after our 2 Labradors recently, especially our old girl, poppy.

She went above and beyond with giving extra care to her. She also managed to do some agility training with our young one!

We were due to go on holiday but our plans were thrown into the air as our usual dog sitter ( family member) was unable to help out. So we were in a dilemma as to cancel our holiday. We were at our wits end ( but really needed a holiday) but we wouldn’t consider leaving our beloved Bonnie in kennels. We searched the internet and Facebook pages and the name The Pet Sitter Solihull kept popping up .It seemed like a no brainier we had found our Pet Sitter !!

The meet & greet was a great success & Bonnie took to Caroline straight away.

We went on holiday with some concerns as we’ve never left Bonnie with anyone who wasn’t a family member but our concerns were short lived as the regular “pupdates” on WhatsApp ,photos messages & videos reassured us that they were both having a fabulous time.

I was going away for a few days and needed someone to give my energetic kitten lots of attention. Truffles is used to me being around a lot so I was worried that she wouldn’t get the companionship that he is used to.

After meeting Caroline and coming up with a tailored plan I felt reassured and knew that Truffles would be in safe hands.

Whilst I was away I had so many updates and video’s from Caroline that really put my mind at ease, which meant I could focus on my trip away rather than worry about Truffles.

After a very bad experience with another cat sitting company in Solihull, it was a real relief to find Caroline and Paul to look after my cat.

I felt my cat was properly looked after and care for.

Finding it a struggle to walk our dog we asked The Cinnamon Trust if there were any local volunteers available to help.

The charity put us in touch with Caroline and Paul and we are so pleased that they did.

Our dog, Molly, has built up such a lovely bond with both Caroline and Paul and she gets so excited the minute their van pulls up.

Caroline and Paul still walk Molly as volunteers despite setting up The Pet Sitter Solihull. They always have time to chat and make sure that me and my husband are well.

Absolutely faultless – we came up from Suffolk for a week for a wedding and brought our 11yo rescue staffy with us.

Our accommodation was a caravan with no address in a field next to the canal. We needed a sitter to stay with Frankie so we could go to the wedding.

We can’t recommend Caroline highly enough after she looked after our rescue dog Murphy for the weekend.

We were apprehensive about using a dog sitter, especially as our pooch isn’t fully trained, but we needn’t have worried because Caroline was brilliant from start to finish. She made us feel really comfortable about everything and kept us fully updated with lots of message updates and beautiful photos.

We asked Caroline to watch our one year old cocker spaniel, Murphy, for a few hours over two days whilst we celebrated our wedding and sons christening.

She was prompt, professional and friendly and I immediately felt comfortable leaving Murphy with her and having her in my home.

We were kept updated on the day with the most beautiful photographs and updates about how happy and settled Murphy was which put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our day.

We have three Bengal cats, a King Charles cavalier and a bearded dragon which creates a problem when staying away from home. 

Each pet has their own personality, and each responds differently to people. It was a worry leaving them all in the care of a stranger.  Caroline came on a pre-visit to our home and met each of our pets and her calm approach was reassuring . Within minutes of her being in our home our pets showed their comfort around her by coming for fuss, sitting alongside her, and even climbing in her bag!

Whilst away Caroline was fabulous. She took photos of the pets and messaged every day. She was observant and noticed when our dog needed an intimate fur trim and dealt with the situation! On our return we were pleased with the odour free house, which showed that the litter trays had had been changed frequently and all bowls and eating areas were clean.  We were also left  daily reports  for the time that we had been away.

 The personal touches that Caroline provided made us feel valued and reassured us that our pets were in safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble and we could not recommend her services more. We will definitely be asking Caroline to take care of our pets when we are away in future.

We used the services of The Pet Sitter Solihull for the first-time last week to look after our lovely cat, Alfie. We were concerned about how this would work out, as we had never done anything like this before.

From the moment Alfie met Caroline I was reassured. I think Alfie knew he was going to be spoiled. The professionalism of the service was an added bonus. Knowing someone was going into the home had been an additional stress- but this service is so well run and prepared, we had no worries at all.

Each day I received a report and gorgeous photos of Alfie living his best life. I am convinced he was rather disappointed to see us home. The report for each day was left for us- updating all of Alfie’s activities in the time Caroline was with him- like a school report but far more cute!

When Caroline came back to return our key there was no faking the affection Alfie had for her. I would not hesitate to use this service again- in fact have booked for two more mini breaks. I would strongly recommend this service to anyone that need their furry family members loved and cared for while away.

Caroline was an excellent pet sitter. We had reservations about inviting someone we didn’t know into our house to look after our pet rabbit whilst we were away, but we needn’t have worried at all. Caroline immediately put us at ease with a complimentary meet and greet, so we could get to know her and ask any questions we had. She also brought along her DBS And insurance certificates for additional peace of mind.

 Whilst away, she sent regular updates and photos of our rabbit, so we could see how he was getting on. She even watered our plants for us. On our return we found a comprehensive document outlining everything she’d done and how he’d got on which was really nice. When handing back our keys we had a lovely personalised thank you card with pictures of our rabbit on it! 

 We’re extremely impressed with her set up and the care and personal touches she puts into her business. We will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her services.

We needed someone to come in at a specific time so that our dog could have his vital medication. Caroline was able to accommodate this and sent us updates afterwards which was so reassuring.
